The James Clear Method to Reading 30+ Books A Year

“Books have brought me freedom for my whole life.” Oprah
Reading is your window to the world. Reading is the habit of billionaires, and for good reason.
Warren Buffet spends as much as six hours a day reading 500+ pages of corporate reports and news.
Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos read 50+ books a year.
Elon Musk grew up reading two books a day.
Oprah credits much of her success to reading.
But you don’t have to spend 6 hours reading a day to read 30+ books a year. Using the James Clear way, all you need is 30 minutes a day.
The James Clear Method
Simply, read 20 pages a day.
Clear starts his day with a glass of water, writing 3 this he’s grateful for, and then reading 20 pages of a book.
Instead of reading random articles and news that pop up on his screen from social media, he makes time to read a book each morning.
If you have average reading speed, you’ll be able to finish the 20 pages within 30 minutes. And by reading first thing in the morning, you won’t get distracted with your daily worries.
Clear will also read at other times if he’s free and right before bed. But whatever happens during his day, he makes sure to read his 20 pages first thing in the morning.
20 pages a day add up to 7300 pages a year. An average of 243 pages per book.
The James Clear strategy is essentially about investing in yourself before you start your day and, of course, making reading a daily habit.
“20 pages per day. That's all you need.” James Clear
